FALL CLINIC: Sept. 9th- Nov.11th ($260/ 10 weeks)

Run Program: Focused program on running, building overall fitness and further developing physical literacy skills.

WINTER CLINIC: January- February ($156/ 6 weeks)

Run Program : Focused program on building the momentum from the fall into more run specific skills and workouts through these 6 weeks. Sessions will be kept to once a week and in the morning when we have daylight.

SPRING CLINIC: Mar. 23rd- UVIC Triathlon ($416/ 16 weeks)

Run and Bike Program: Focused program on more triathlon specific skills both on the bike and running in prep for some of the summer races.

SUMMER CLINIC: July-August (dates to be confirmed)

Run and Bike Program: Focused program on further development of triathlon specific skills both on the bike and running through the summer race season.

*Please note dates and times may be subject to change depending on interest. Additionally we require a minimum of 5 athletes to run these clinics. 

 

Pathway to Performance Group

$112/month

This program operates on a yearly cycle with a progression in focus throughout the year. Athletes have the option to sign up for our swim program as well (see below).

Run/Swim program: Focused program on base fitness in running and swimming while integrating functional strength, movement and mobility exercises into the practices.

SPRING TERM: February to April

Run to bike progression/Swim program: Continued focus on overall fitness, general strength and mobility with the addition of speed specific work and the bike as the weather improves.

Spring Break Camp: KKT alongside Triathlon BC Offers a training camp open to athletes from western Canada typically over the first week of spring break. Athletes are encouraged to partake in the camp if they are in town. More details to come for 2019!

Swim/Bike/Run Program: All encompassing triathlon specific program with a focus on the specific skill set and speed work throughout the race season. Athletes in this program will often race throughout the province in the BC Super Series Events. 

May and June: THURSDAY @ 4:30-5:30PM• SATURDAY @ 9-10AM

July and August: THURSDAY @ 10:30-11:30AM• SATURDAY @ 9-10AM

Swim Program Addition: $150/month

This is an option to add on for the 'Pathway to Performance' and Performance groups only. Should you choose to opt into the program, monthly fees will include the base fee for the respective group plus the additional $150.

Five times a week- Beginning Sept. 22nd

*During the months of July and August, swim times shift to align more closely with our practice schedules and often fall later in the morning during the week. 

 

Fee Structures and Philosophy

With the exception of the clinic group fees will operate on a month-to-month basis. All fees will be due on the 1st of the month and will be assessed a late fee if they are not received by the 5th of the month. An additional 10% will be applied per late day.

Our monthly fees are based off of an average for the whole year and have been built on a 45min practice schedule, despite our 60-75minute long sessions. This helps to compensate for any missed practices in the month for the inevitable other parts of life outside of triathlon that will conflict. Fees will not be pro-rated within the month for missed practices.

Our swim program for the 'Pathway to Performance' and 'Performance' groups is one in which you will opt into or out of. This program offers a minimum of 5 opportunities to swim. As with the bike/run program there will be no pro-rated fee given for this program. As expected this program will inevitably be interrupted occasionally due to swim meets and other events occurring at the pool. This has been taken into consideration within the fee structure. Additionally, on days when KKT kids have a pro-d day they are welcome to jump into the LFC-elite program swims which often fall later in the morning.
